Going Places
When I saw this biplane I was immediately reminded of the mid “60s album from Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass. Although this image looks very different from the album cover the airplane itself is nearly identical to the one on the cover. I do have an image that was taken at a similar angle and I compared the two. On one hand it makes me feel old to be that familiar with the album but on the other hand I feel good that my memory is still keen enough that I made the connection at first sight.

Late Fall
Around here the seasons can be very confusing, even for the trees. This is the same tree as yesterday’s post, different branch, photographed a few seconds after the other. The tree can’t seem to decide if it’s early spring or late fall right now.
Mean Streets
It was raining last night when I walked out of my studio to go home so instead of walking straight to my truck I made a detour through the neighborhood with my camera and grabbed a few shots for myself.
Walking in the Rain
I stood here in the rain for a long time waiting for someone to walk through this composition and be in an interesting position when the traffic lights turned yellow. Do I need to say why I wanted the lights to be yellow?
