Studebaker and the City
Today’s image is scan of a print I made the other week with my beloved 1974 vintage folding Polaroid SX-70. The forty years of dust that has accumulated inside of the camera (that I refuse to clean for artistic reasons) is what gives these prints their beautiful vintage look.
The Glass is Way More Than Half Full
Today’s image was taken with medium format Kodak TMAX black and white film.
Deals on Wheels
I knew at the time I photographed this that I wanted to do an artistic treatment with it. I took the time last night to work with it and get it to look like what I envisioned in the first place.
The Squeaky Wheel
As you can tell I’m still picking out images to post from my last trip out west. I’m looking forward to getting some new material on the next trip which is coming up soon.
Southern Living
Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to give up modern conveniences and the complications of life that go along with them. What would I do with all the time that I now spend at the computer? Maybe I could just sit in a rocking chair on the porch and contemplate. Maybe that wouldn’t be so bad.
The Garden Shed
Interior of the garden shed that houses the well for the Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings Estate in Cross Creek, FL.
The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
There is whole host of poisons, cures, and scary medicines on display in the drugstore in St. Augustine.
Old Sugar Mill
A bit of steam powered Florida history sits on the side of the road in the quiet little town of Homosassa.
