A bonus effect happens when you get down at a really low angle on wet sand – the sand becomes highly reflective. If it’s wet enough it becomes a virtual mirror.

I went for an impromptu walk through some woods and a swamp the other day and came upon this moss covered palm tree stump in a shallow stream that was reflecting the deep blue afternoon sky.
