When I was walking the flight line at the airshow I gave myself an assignment to try not to shoot any “typical” photos of the aircraft there.

I was prepping one of the hot air balloons for flight at the Sun N’ Fun Fly In the other morning at dawn. Of course I had a couple of cameras on me as I worked and this was one of the snaps I made as the sun began to rise.

I had the opportunity to do some shooting at a practice session for the pilots in advance of a major airshow. It was quite exciting to watch the precision flying and it was also nice to have access to some of the static displays without the usual throngs of people surrounding them.
